Shivanaa Homes began with a simple observation: Indian homes are full of beautiful furniture, thoughtful art, careful colour — and then, too often, an afterthought at the window. We believed the curtain deserved the same design seriousness as the sofa.

Custom curtains take weeks, cost the earth and demand a carpenter's patience. We engineer ours to standard Indian window sizes — 5, 7 and 9 ft drops — with the finish of bespoke: weighted hems, lined tops, rust-free eyelets. Hung in minutes. Kept for years.

Our sun is not Scandinavian. It arrives sharp at 9 am and stays till 6. Every Shivanaa fabric is tested against real Indian light — sheers that tame it, blackouts that block it, linens that turn it amber.

We buy fabric the way fashion houses do — by hand, at the mill, against the light. Flax linen, long-staple Indian cotton, dense velvet, triple-weave blackout with no chemical coating. If we wouldn't hang it in our own homes, it doesn't make the cut.
